Jodeen Olguín-Tayler
Jodeen Olguín-Tayler has nearly 20 years of experience leading initiatives to build a more inclusive democracy and an economic system rooted in racial and gender equity. Having served in executive leadership roles across the private, nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, Jodeen is highly regarded for her success national civic engagement and voter mobilization programs, driving public policy campaigns and leading multi-sector coalitions. Following her role as Campaigns Director at the National Domestic Workers Alliance and Caring Across Generations, Jodeen served as Vice President at Demos where she designed and launched the Inclusive Democracy Project. As a program officer at the Wellspring Philanthropic Fund, she was honored for expanding the civic engagement program to support more racial and gender equity organizations, leveraging over $26million dollars to their work. From 2019-2021 Jodeen served as the Head of Strategic Growth and Partnerships for B Lab Global. Currently, she is leading the "Investing in Racial Equity and Democracy" initiative at the Amalgamated Foundation / Amalgamated Bank.
As a mother and queer Chicana, Jodeen is learning to serve as a generational steward of Ute and Tewa ancestral lands. Her family's 500+ years of resilience and protection of land, water and cultural traditions are an inheritance that informs her stewardship of organizations and resources to shift economic, cultural and political power to be more equitably distributed. It's with these accountabilities that Jodeen sits on the board of directors of several impact investing ventures, as well as the National Institute for Money in Politics, the Chicana Empowerment and Climate Justice Fund, the Movement Voter Fund, GALvanize USA, the Community Power-Building Fund, Business for America and the southwest Abortion Fund. She is completing an M.S. degree in Organizational Change Management and is certified as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) specialist.
